The act of photographing is a human practice that merges scientific technology and pictorial conventions with personal values, along with a desire to tell and share a visual account or story. Digital imaging not only makes picture-making and viewing instantaneous, but also makes picture distribution simpler and quicker by expanding the possibilities of how images can be outputted and circulated.
