9.1 Melatonin Suppression
In Chapter 1, the importance of the natural circadian rhythm and how it depends
on levels of melatonin was discussed. In addition, we described how the use of
warm and cool white light sources can simulate daylight changes in order to create
more natural indoor environments and also how this dynamic lighting (Chapter 8)
can create the appropriate lighting for a range of tasks and moods.
But one of the main objectives of circadian rhythm manipulation is to help
