Remember when you were a kid and you would ask your parents to measure your height every few weeks and then keep a record of it by making a mark on the wall? The mark let you know how much you had grown and how fast you were progressing.
This is good training for a skill that all leaders need to develop: keeping a visible measure of progress.
This is obvious stuff, I know, but just consider how you currently analyse and keep score of your progress and whether or not it includes some of the following lessons.
