06Drainage
Introduction
This chapter discusses above-ground drainage work only. It has been assumed that the addition or relocation of a bathroom or room containing a WC will connect directly into the existing drainage system without the need to carry out any work below ground. If you intend to carry out work to the drainage system below ground either by upgrading the existing installation or installing new drainage, refer to Approved Document H of the Building Regulations.
