Designing Applications and Choosing Appropriate Coding Options
Domino provides many coding options, making it a flexible tool for building powerful applications. Domino 6 supports the following programming options:
Simple actions— Pre-defined functions that can be used to automate tasks with no programming. Simple actions are not customizable and are not supported on the Web.
Formulas— Formulas are a non-procedural, interpreted language. In many cases, the Formula language is the easiest, most efficient language to use, especially when you want to do something simple, such as update a field in all the documents in a view.
