Aha,” you may hear others cry, “what about American Idol? What about all those thousands of people who line up for days in the hope that they will be chosen as the next superstar?” Each of them, in this line of thinking, instinctively volunteers to put themselves up for the audition, and yet clearly many of them lack even the most basic singing ability.
