Using the cups-config Utility for Debugging

The cups-config utility has several parameters that can be handy while troubleshooting. The options are described in Table 18-2.

Displays the necessary compiler options.


Displays the default CUPS data directory.


Displays the program usage message.


Displays the necessary linker options.


Displays the necessary libraries to link to.


Displays the default CUPS binary directory, where filters and backends are stored.


Displays the default CUPS configuration file directory.
