In this chapter, we have seen how to use text areas and text fields. These two widgets provide very flexible but easy to use UIs for the display, entry, and editing of text. A text area supports an operating region with adjustable dimensions that can be larger than that available with a text field and with input constraints that permit us to tailor the component instance for specific types of input.
