Syagnik ‘Sy’ Banerjee

Syagnik Banerjee (“Sy”) is an Associate Professor of Marketing at University of Michigan - Flint. He has been a pioneer in research on the impact of mobile devices in digital marketing, consumer insights, and behavior. His research covers areas including the Effectiveness of Mobile Advertising, Patterns of Wireless Internet Use, Social Media Listening, Consumer Practices with Internet of Things (IOT), and Analysis of Location-Based Big Data. Prior to joining academia, he worked for four intense years in rural marketing in the areas of sales, distribution, and supply chain management with fast moving consumer goods and telecommunication industries.
