Troubleshooting iPhoto
iPhoto is the image spoke of Apple’s digital hub. It allows you to organize, edit, and share your digital images, and is one of the most widely used and praised iApps. However, it’s also one of the most widely criticized—primarily due to a few quirks as well as its reputation (prior to iPhoto 4.x) for slow performance once you’ve acquired a large number of photos.
The first time you launch iPhoto, you’ll see a “welcome” dialog asking, “Do you want to use iPhoto when you connect your digital camera?” If you click Use iPhoto, iPhoto will launch whenever you connect your digital camera to your Mac.
