Apple has gone a long way to provide help, yet this resource is very much underutilised – for instance, many third-party support files can be found from within the System Help menu. Beyond this, System diagnostics can be performed through Disk Utility, which can be found in the Utilities folder. For the more adventurous there is the Terminal, but this can often be too daunting for most photographers.
