The Internet is one of the most amazing inventions of the last century, probably of all time, and it has inexorably changed our lives in countless ways. The Mac was an early sojourner on the Net when it began its climb to ubiquity in the 1990s, and in many ways Mac OS has always led the way when it comes to usable, beautiful, powerful software that lets people work and play in cyberspace.
