USING THE LOOP BROWSER

To open the Loop Browser, click the third button from the left at the bottom of the GarageBand window. This button looks like an eye and was pointed out previously in Figure 2.2.

You might also see a small window with a keyboard in it. We'll use this window in Chapter 3, “Recording Your Own Music with Software Instruments.” For now, you can close it.

The Loop Browser takes many forms. The default look for the Loop Browser is how you see it in Figure 2.3. It shows a set of 30 buttons, an empty list to the right, and some extra controls at the bottom.
