Chapter 8 Unsupervised Learning

In previous chapters, we’ve seen a number of machine learning techniques under the umbrella of supervised learning such as regression and classification. These techniques have used labeled training data sets comprised of feature variables measured on a collection of observations to make predictions with new test data sets. In this chapter, we’ll look at an entirely new type of machine learning: unsupervised learning.
