Macro Software for the New Millennium

Despite the great power of personal computers, you still have to do an awful lot of work manually. When you launch an application or document, you may have to dig through several nested folders to find the items you want. Even if you have made aliases on the Desktop or in the Mac OS 9 and earlier's Apple Menu or in Mac OS X's Dock, once the programs open, plenty of manual work remains. To create a new document, you visit the File menu and select New (or type in most programs), bringing up a blank document window.
