If you know how to use the Maps app on your iPhone or iPad, you already know most of what you need to know to use Maps on your Mac. But if you don’t have an iPhone or iPad, don’t worry — this chapter will get you up to speed in next to no time.
Finding Your Current Location with Maps
If you’re wondering where you’re at, Maps can set you straight. Launch Maps from the Dock, from Launchpad, or from the Applications folder and then click the Current Location icon, which is a little arrowhead (shown in the margin) on the toolbar at the top of the window. Your location is indicated by a blue dot.
