Special ColdFusion Variables and Result Codes
Macromedia ColdFusion provides access to many special variables that can be used within your applications. These variables generally fall into one of several categories:
System variables
Scope-related variables
Tag-specific variables
Query-related variables
All of these can be used like any other variables, by simply referencing them. Some have a specific prefix; others use a designated name (for example, a query name) as their prefix.
