Macromedia Contribute is in some ways a bit of a paradox. Now that Web sites have become complex, requiring the skills of highly trained designers and Web programmers, Contribute returns to the content contributor the ability to change Web sites simply and directly. With Contribute, you can modify and add to existing Web sites, but you can’t create new sites. Contribute is a terrific tool for the novice, but it works best when using page templates created with Macromedia Dreamweaver, a complex program for Web professionals.
