Adding Single-Line Text Fields

Text fields are for gathering information that the user can type in. Single-line text fields are used for short concise answers such a word or phrase. Typical single-line text fields collect names, portions of addresses, and e-mail information from users. Single-line text fields are also used for basic searches, in which the visitor types words describing the desired information into the field.
