Php has taken the Web by storm. It's a lightweight language with powerful, built-in features that enable developers to create complex sites fast. PHP is usually mentioned in the same breath with MySQL, a popular open-source database management system. The two technologies work well together, hence their popularity. In addition, with enhanced PHP functionality now included in Dreamweaver MX 2004, you can use many of Dreamweaver's dynamic server behaviors and application objects to easily create pages that use the PHP language to communicate with a MySQL database.
