1 THE PAST, PRESENT, AND FUTURE

This chapter is full of all the stuff that made me the person I am today, the good and the bad, but all of it important. We tend to see and hear just the good stuff in people’s lives, but I’ll be talking you through my journey as a young boy, through my troubled teens, and through having to restart with a clean slate as a young adult.

What I hope you gain from this chapter is that it’s okay to make mistakes, and sometimes things happen that are out of your control. The most important thing is what you do today and tomorrow—that’s the stuff that really matters.
