I love taking action photos. Most of the photos I take could be considered action shots because there is something happening that I did not pose or set up. To get better sports and action shots, first we need to look at what makes a great action photo.
What Makes a Great Action or Sports Shot
A great action shot makes you feel the excitement of the moment. It should make you hold your breath for a second, gasp out loud, and have you looking for more. It might be the thrill of the basket going into the hoop during a basketball game, or your favorite four-legged friend tearing along the beach.
