I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Power 11 The Devil Is in the Feedback
I love playing golf. I am still in the initial learning phase of the game. My instructor taught me the importance of the proper follow-through to perfect their drives and putts. Without it, golfers don’t make their shots or perform optimally.
Leaders need to take the same approach when it comes to feedback. Essentially, no task is complete, no objective is reached, and no successes can be experienced unless – and until – feedback has been given and received.
You might agree that providing feedback has long been considered an essential skill for leaders. And most leaders do that well.
The problem comes in when leaders want feedback.
