HOW DO I INTERVIEWSUCCESSFULLY?

The interview is a meeting to exchange information and to evaluate qualifications and interests—on both sides of the table. Interviews may be either brief or long; however, the basic decision of intent to hire (or to continue the conversation) is often made within the first several minutes.

This decision is often made on “feel” or being comfortable with the applicant—a “gut feeling.” It’s a matter of trust. The decision maker must have a sense of trust that you are who you say you are, and that you can do what you say you can do, before intent can turn to reality.
