Bigger Doesn’t Have to Cost More
In previous mold-making chapters, we’ve covered molds that are used to cast solid parts. But sometimes it’s not such a good idea for a piece to be solid. Whether it’s to cut down on weight, reduce costs, or just make it a bit easier to fit your head inside, sometimes you need to make a hollow part. It’s better than the option shown in Figure 8-1!
