The day has finally arrived when you’re ready for a launch. You’ve built Juno and the Mono Launcher, or kits that are similar to them, and you’re ready for a flight. Let’s take a look at where you should fly, how to get ready for the flight, and what to expect when flying and recovering your rocket.

Picking a Launch Site

The first step is to pick a place to fly your rocket. Local clubs are a great source of information about locations to fly. In most cities and states in the US, you can fly just about any of the rockets in this book in a public field or any field where the owner gives permission.
