1+2+3 Bokeh Photography Effect

BOKEH COMES FROM THE JAPANESE word for “blur.” In photography, the bokeh effect has to do with the aesthetics of out-of-focus areas of the picture.

With this project, you can create an effect that makes the out-of-focus lights in your pictures appear any shape you want.

YOU WILL NEED

Paper, thick and black

Camera lens, 50mm

Camera

Compass

Ruler

Scissors

X-Acto knife

1. Measure and cut a paper disk.

Set your compass to measure 25mm between the spike and the pencil, and draw a circle 50mm in diameter.
