THIS TIME, INSTEAD OF BUILDING something new, I’m going to modify an existing product. I want you to see how quick and easy a mod can be, if you have just a little electronics knowledge.
The product I’m interested in is an alarm siren. This suggests something you’d find on an emergency vehicle, but in the world of burglar alarms, a siren is a little gadget that usually makes a high-pitched squealing sound at 2kHz or above (2,000 cycles per second).
