THE PROCESS OF WORKING ON the music for your music video may vary, depending on whether you want to use an existing track of music or record a new piece specifically for the video. And note that I’m talking about your music—original music—a song or instrumental that you or someone in your band has created. If you are planning to make a music video out of someone else’s work, it might be a useful exercise or practice session for the real deal. But you won’t be able to post it.
