Light and Shadow
It was early Saturday morning and I was out on the streets of Downtown Los Angeles. The storefronts had yet to open and there were few people around. Despite the inactivity, I liked wandering the streets, witnessing the city waking up to a new day. Shafts of sunlight cut down the street and sidewalks, illuminating the most mundane things and revealing them through a beautiful quality of light. It gave the city a magical glow.
