So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Revisiting the basic concepts of agile and scrum
Agile software development is based on an incremental, iterative approach. Instead of detailed planning at the beginning of the project, agile methodologies allow a change in requirements over time and encourage constant feedback from the end users. Cross-functional teams work on iterations of a product over a period, and this work is organized into a backlog that is prioritized based on business or customer value. The goal of each iteration is to produce a working product. While the waterfall method is highly logical, it has low process efficiency.
