January 24, 2018, Ingham County Circuit Court Judge Rosemarie Aquilina sentenced former Michigan State University and USA Gymnastics doctor Larry Nassar to 40 to 175 years in prison for seven counts of first-degree sexual misconduct.1 During the hearing, more than 150 girls, including gymnasts, Olympians, dancers, rowers, and runners shared accounts of their abuse when they were supposed to be receiving medical treatment at the hands of Nassar.2
