Mapping and Defining your Strategy
The previous chapters have given you an understanding of your stakeholder value proposition as well as of your core competencies and resources necessary to deliver it. Bringing these together allows you now to translate these into an integrated and coherent picture of your strategy. In this chapter, I will outline how a strategy can be visualized in a value creation map (VCM) and described in a value creation narrative (VCN). Together, they allow organizations to make their strategic plans explicit and communicate them to everyone within the organization in order for the strategy to be executed, challenged and refined.
