One consequence of the Hispanic diaspora experience is the sociological impact of being part of the “out-group” in the American workplace. H. Tajfel and J. C. Turner, writing in “The Social Identity Theory of Intergroup Behaviour,” expand on their “Social Identity Theory” first advanced in 1979 in discussing intergroup relations.
