Adding SSL Support to Cyrus

If sending passwords in cleartext across the wire makes you nervous and you donât have the infrastructure to support Kerberos or CRAM, then you can hack SSL support into IMAP as a quick workaround. To take advantage of SSL, you would of course have to use an IMAP client that supports SSL. Currently, your choices are narrow: Netscape Messenger and Outlook Express/Outlook 98.
