In Chapter 2 we discussed the business context, capability, expectations and success for the project. This and the following chapter focus on the platform for success. We believe two elements, project objectives and project design (set-up) are critical.

In this chapter, we consider the objectives for the project, how they are set and how stable they might be. As objectives may change, we look at how to deal with this and how the business context is the project’s rock when objectives change or success is viewed differently.
