It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
4.6. Basic Operations hints and tips
This section offers some hints and tips on using Operations Navigator Basic Operations more productively.
4.6.1. Dragging and dropping spooled files
Spooled files can be manipulated within Operations Navigator using the mouse drag-and-drop technique. You can:
Move or copy iSeries a spooled file from one printer to another on the same iSeries server.
Move or copy iSeries a spooled file from a printer to a printer on a different iSeries server.
Note
For this function, the iSeries servers must be able to communicate using TCP/IP and the line printer daemon (LPD) server must be started on the target iSeries server.
Copy iSeries printer output to the PC desktop (or any Windows folder) to create an ASCII text file ...
