THE CROSS-FUNCTIONAL PRODUCT TEAM DEFINED
The cross-functional product team can be a remarkably effective work structure in any company. Think of it this way: The senior leadership team is a cross-functional entity in and of itself. That leadership team is accountable for optimizing and executing all aspects of the organization to fulfill the firm’s strategic intent. Therefore, it must do the following:
1. Synchronize the efforts of all business functions, product groups, and geographic divisions.
2. Ensure that all groups are operating efficiently.
