An item of heritage: either a cultural site or cultural items
To look first at the question of what constitutes an item of heritage, it could be defined, in the context of this book, as:
|i)||a cultural site itself, whether single location or scattered, or|
|ii)||a cultural object or objects, of one or many types, housed at a location or locations.|
