7.10. INTERCULTURAL TRAINING
Intercultural training is a professional field that specializes in providing training to improve interactions across cultures, and can also be used to deal with all aspects of diversity. Unfortunately, the field is not regulated and is full of untrained trainers/consultants, many of whom do more harm than good. Before engaging such a consultant, it is good to check if he or she proposes to use a wide range of methods that will provide the training on a small scale first, and then evaluate it with multiple methods.
