Who are your closest stakeholders? Well, the client may be nagging you frequently, your sponsor may want weekly reports or meetings, but your project team will probably be around you all the time. One of the consequences of this is that you can't fake leadership. They will see you every day. They will watch your behavior and they will dance according the music. If you act loosely, if you don't make people accountable, they will understand the message and behave accordingly.
