IT resources, troubleshooting, internet security, and library security

This chapter discusses the importance of solo librarians learning about how computers (both hardware and software) and other information technology work in their libraries, and how they can troubleshoot and solve problems when these technologies need to be fixed or corrected. Internet security, also part of information technology troubleshooting, is covered in this discussion. The chapter includes several strategies solo librarians use to solve these problems, as well how they implement library security strategies.
