Chapter 7. Ink Slingers

If Manga Studio pencils shine, Manga Studio inking pens and brushes are as smooth as polished white dwarf star matter. We'll look at our inked line's life and how varying the thickness helps it look more vibrant and work with our lighting. There'll be exercises to create a technical pen and an inking pen.

We'll learn how vector layers work in Manga Studio and some good benefits of using them to ink by learning how to adjust vector lines. We will gain flexibility in coloring our pages by separating our foreground from the background while inking.
