Time for action – making a 70s comic color set

Let's say we have a need to go retro and use the colors that were used in American comics during the early 70s. To do this accurately, we'll have to be able to use those colors in a color set, as mucking about in the color wheel and the intermediate and approximate color palettes won't give us the exact colors we want. Fortunately, we can search for the actual colors that are present in a graphic we can use. Then, we'll want to sample the colors from it and put those picked colors into a color set. This color set will contain around 64 colors.
