Storage, Mounting, Encryption, and Backups
This chapter will teach us how to mount, inspect, partition, and manage storage. We use external storage to keep or transfer big amounts of data, but we will also review it from the perspective of backups. Here, we will also see how to encrypt partitions, which will be our first encounter with the topic of security. After that, we will dive into backups, as any long-term project requires its intermediate stages to be saved. We should also back up our personal data, documents, photos, and so on. The chapter finishes by comparing available backup tools and how to use the best one, integrated by default in Manjaro.
