So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

The real problem comes when applications need to consolidate data content across
multiple sources. As each data source produces its own set of code values and defin-
itions, there is little, if any, concordance that can be achieved. The problem is made even
worse by the fact that most data sources apply little, if any, quality control to the defin-
itions and their usage. As a result, it is not uncommon to encounter meaningless abbre-
viations, grammatical mistakes and erroneous or duplicated definitions. These are all
