About the Authors

GERALD ZALTMAN is the Joseph C. Wilson Professor of Business Administration, Emeritus, at the Harvard Business School. He was codirector of the Mind of the Market laboratory at HBS and a member of the Executive Committee of Harvard University’s Mind, Brain, and Behavior Interfaculty Initiative. He is a cofounder of Olson Zaltman Associates (www.olson zaltman.com), a research-based consulting firm. Professor Zaltman holds a PhD in sociology from Johns Hopkins University, an MBA from the University of Chicago, and an AB in government from Bates College.
