New Manufacturing Technologies

Nobody is an expert in all things manufacturing. So, in this chapter, I can only point out a few things I see coming. I’m aware of many of these new manufacturing technologies because they are directly or indirectly connected to new computer and software technologies.
Often it is the combination of two or three new technologies and several existing ones that lead to new products. I will point out some of the key enabling technologies here.
