Introducing Flash Objects
Flash includes a set of powerful drawing tools that allow you to create your own art for your movies. All drawings that you create in Flash are vector based, and so they are made up of strokes (lines) and fills (the color between lines in a closed shape). When you combine strokes and fills into a shape, you create objects. You can use the tools on the Tools panel to create these objects.
If you have worked with other vector-based drawing applications such as Adobe Illustrator or Adobe Fireworks, the tools in Flash will be familiar.
