Add Text with the Text Tool
You can use the Text tool located on the Tools panel to add text to a Flash document. You can even animate text the same way you animate a graphic object.
You can use three types of text in Flash: static, dynamic, and input. Static text, the default text property, is text that does not change as the movie plays. Dynamic text can be altered as the movie plays and is controlled by ActionScript. Input text creates a field into which your user can type his own text. See Chapter 35 to learn more about dynamic and input text.
